Funding it from Cash App
There's no Cash App button at LivvFX. But Cash App sells Bitcoin, and Bitcoin is one of the coins LivvFX takes, so this is the way through.
- Open Cash App and tap the Bitcoin tabThe ₿ symbol along the bottom. First time, it makes you verify yourself, so start that now.
- Buy what you want to trade with, plus a few dollarsSending Bitcoin costs a small network fee, so buy a little more than you want to deposit.

- Back in Cash App: Bitcoin → the send arrow → scan the QR codeScanning beats typing. Nothing to mistype.
- Send it and wait for it to confirmMinutes, not seconds. Then do the wallet to trading account step above.
Your Cash App Cash Card is a Visa debit, so it can work on the card option too. If it gets declined that's normal for some brokers. Use Bitcoin or a bank card instead.

The Onboarding Quiz
10 questions · 80% to passThere are two ways you can make money from the market.
- BUY: you make money when price goes up.
- SELL: you make money when price goes down.
There are two ways you can get into a trade idea.
- Market execution: you're in the trade immediately, at whatever the price is right now.
- Pending: nothing happens until price reaches the number you typed. When it gets there, your trade idea opens on its own. If price never gets there, you were never in.
Pending orders let you do your analysis, set your price, and let the trade idea play out.
There are four sayings that are common to hear when executing a trade idea. You'll hear buy stop, buy limit, sell limit or sell stop.
In TradeLocker you never click a button that says any of those. You type a price. Those four sayings are just names for where your price sits compared to the current price.
- Stop: price has to travel to your entry and pick you up on the way.
- Limit: price has to come back to your entry before you're in.
| You hear | Your entry sits | What has to happen |
|---|---|---|
| Buy stop | Above the current price | Price travels up and picks you up |
| Buy limit | Below the current price | Price comes back down to you |
| Sell limit | Above the current price | Price comes up to you |
| Sell stop | Below the current price | Price travels down and picks you up |
A lot is the size of your trade idea. It decides how much money moves when price moves.
| Lot size | Called | Per pip |
|---|---|---|
| 1.00 | Standard | $10 |
| 0.10 | Mini | $1 |
| 0.01 | Micro | 10 cents |
Stop loss is your seatbelt for trading. You put it on before anything goes wrong, so if there is a wreck you walk away from it.
Take profit is where you collect. It closes your trade idea and puts the money in your pocket.
Set both when you place the trade idea, not after it's already going against you.
Once you're in, TradeLocker shows your P&L moving with every tick. It isn't money in your pocket until you close the trade idea.
Changing your mind. Drag your stop loss or your take profit level to a new level on the chart to edit the trade idea you're already in.
Moving your stop loss line above your entry line allows you to protect profits you already gained from that idea. Moving your stop loss further away because price is going against you is the opposite. That's how a small loss turns into the whole account.
