I'm Arin.

I have been trading for over six years. Most of that time I was looking for the right mentorship, and thankfully I found my tribe. Everything I build now comes out of that.

How I teach it

I am a day trading educator focused on building strong foundations from the ground up, because trading is a skill, not a lucky guess. My job is to turn your questions into clarity: day trading basics, market structure, price action, commodities and risk management, in that order.

Discipline and personal development over shortcuts, every time. What I want is for you to walk away a confident, self sufficient decision maker who does not need me sitting next to you.

Why I do it in the open

Ever since I found my footing I have wanted to build a place of real transparency with traders. The parts nobody wants to share. The red week, the size that was wrong, the trade I knew better than to take. That is the part that actually teaches you something, so that is the part I post.

Where Octane came from

My background is mechanical engineering. That is where I learned to love a process, and more than that, to love executing a process properly and holding it to a result. Octane came out of that habit. It is a one of a kind strategy for trading commodities, and oil is where it really shows what it can do.
